So what is Mosaic tile? A Mosaic tile typically comes on a mesh backing sheet and made up of any combination of tile sizes, colors, shapes and/or materials. They can be made from ceramic, porcelain, glass, natural stone and even metal. They are typically set randomly or in a specific pattern which repeats on every sheet.
