Real Customer Reviews
Sol did a fantastic job tiling the floors in my kitchen and bathroom as well as my shower walls. I was particularly impressed with how he handled the uneven floors in my condo and would recommend him to anyone planning a renovation.
I’ve been a contractor for almost 30 years, working on other peoples houses and commercial properties. This has given me the occasion to hire lots of different sub contractors. For the past three years, I’ve been working full time on my own property. I hired Sol to install tiles in three places in my home. His company and his work are everything that a homeowner should expect from an installer of tiles. Whether it’s a complicated two-sided fireplace or a simple backsplash, I highly recommend Sol and Canadian Tile Pro!
Sol went above and beyond the regular scope of work, we had a very challenging job with an uneven floor, he took the time to get it right consulting with us as homeowners along the way. We couldn’t be happier with the results of our new bathroom and shower. Thank you Sol

Canadian Tile Pro: FAQ
What size tile do you recommend installing for floors?
Right now the trend is big tiles. So I would say to go with a 24″x24″ porcelain tile for your floors. Not only does it look more modern, but you also have many more options to choose from when you are selling your porcelain tiles. Furthermore, you get the added benefit of less grout joints so it will be easier to clean.
What is the most expensive part of a bathroom remodel?
The most expensive part of a bathroom renovation depends on what your design looks like. In general, the plumbing and electrical are likely going to be the most expensive part of your renovation. This is also where having a contractor who is experienced in managing the trades and has the right connections comes in handy.
Can you renovate a bathroom for $10,000?
Yes it can be done, but you have to keep in mind that you will be very limited on the options. If you’re someone who just wants a basic makeover then I would say keep the tiling work, plumbing work, and electrical work to a minimum and you will save enough to stay under $10,000. You also want to get your fixtures at a discount, for example going to home depot and getting your vanity instead of a designer showroom.
What size hexagon tile is best for a small bathroom floor?
Bathroom floors need constant cleaning weekly so it’s best to stick with larger hexagon tiles. I would recommend 9″x11″ porcelain hexagon tiles for the floors.
Is wood look tile out of style in 2025?
Not at all. Wood look porcelain tiles continue to be a sought after trend in 2025 as earthy wood like tiles are on the rise. If you are looking to get wood look tiles installed in your home, I would recommend working with plank sizes that are at least 48″ in length so that the installation will look more modern.
What tile is outdated?
Right now, 12″x24″ tiles are pretty much outdated. Although they do still get used in some area, most customers want to work with the bigger tiles. However, subway tiles still continue to be in trend!
